About Southern Floral Shop

Southern Floral was established in 1923 by the Krehbiel Family on South Broadway in South St. Louis. They built a new store at 7400 Michigan (present location) in 1935. Jan Arbutti, the current owner, purchased the business in 1985. Southern Floral is a well established Flower Shop located in South St. Louis, but delivers anywhere in St. Louis or the metro area. The flowers on top of my grandmother's coffin were absolutely perfect, and the staff made the entire process easy. Friendly staff, great arrangements, great experience overall. Go to them - you won't regret it. THANK YOU!!

Knows how to ruin a special suprise

I foudn this florist on this site and went directly to the website to order a bear, choclates, and roses special that was listed on the very first page for $29.99. I completed the entire order, gave my credit card information. The order form requested a date and time. This was for Valentine's day so I chose 2/14/08 and then noted a time between 9 am - 1 am. After submitting my order the confirmation screen said that order would not be processed until the credit card was validated. Two days later I get a voicemail that the florist is not going to honor the special they listed on the website and instead of costing a totoal of approx $40 that it would be about $80. I called the florist directly and was told the owner was out and had to wait for them to call me back.
