I had my wedding at Top of the Met this summer. The view was amazing and the food was pretty good. However, a lot of the little details that could have made the day more special were missed. For just a few examples, they served the wrong dessert (which was a pretty big deal because I don't like chocolate and we'd really talked up the italian cream cake) and they didn't set any appetizers aside for the wedding party (who was arriving after the cocktail hour) even after we asked them to. Nothing horrible, but just little things like that. Overall, the day was still amazing, but I think the service could have been better.

Our server was excellent. Never rushed, always there when you wanted her to be. Food was extremely good. It's a very nice and formal atmosphere without the pretentious attitude of staff, ect. While it is a bit pricey, its certainly not over the top for the atmosphere and food Basically it's not cheap, but about what you would expect. Highly recommend this place.

Horrible service, and a miserable experience. This is supposed to be one of the best in St. Louis, but my friend and I sat there for about 10 to 12 LONG minutes before someone, in a full room with a waiter serving, even acknowledged us. The staff, of underlings who provided the menus, basically through them at us without saying a word, and the waiter, when he finally arrived, did not apologize after I told him to help us. He did NOT say his name, and after I got up and told the matre'd that we were leaving because of the way we were treated (and we are African-American, mind you) he did not offer to make it right, or offer anything to recoup my business. Stay FAR AWAY from Kemoll's!!

What a disappointment.....took clients there March 8th...had to beg for coffee, water and drinks.....eventually we went to the bar and served ourself. Who waits 15 min. after being served cake to get their coffee...? US! Forget about the cream. It never arrived. The view is great, the food is excellent but the service ruined the whole experience. We actually had to get up and ask if someone was going to wait on us when we were first seated. It took 20 minutes for someone to take our drink order, then another 15 minutes to get the drinks.....? Then we were approached every 20 min. thereafter. Until the meal was served. After dinner, our waitress vanished...we think maybe she went home. Save your money, what may seem like a great deal for $75 per person, is nothing more than a joke! What a shame too, could have been awesome with the views and the food......Thank god someone else brought the food out......
