Our pizza dough, sauce and Italian sausage are 50-year old family recipes created by "Pizza Bill" in the Northern suburbs of Chicago. He has generously shared his famous recipe with our family, and with it, JJ Twig's Pizza & Pub has been going strong for 23 years. We hope St. Louis enjoys it just as well.
Our sauce is 100% real milk mozzarella, our Italian sausage is made just for us. Our sauce, dough and toppings are prepared daily in our kitchen.
JJ Twig's is not a fast food restaurant. Our pizza and other items on the menu are prepared to order with only the freshest ingredients. Since we pride ourselves in satisfying our customers, we will never compromise our quality by taking short cuts to speed the process. So we thank you in advance for your patience.

We went on a night we could dine outdoors, the pizza was excellent. I recommend the double crust pizza to anyone.

I live a very short distance from this Pizza/Pub. The first few times I ordered a pizza, it was excellent. I had family visiting from IL & wanted them to try it as well, compare it to Chicago Pizza. But the pizza in which I normally (Lindas Special) was not nearly as good as any time before. I wanted to add a topping and they were going to charge me an extra $6 because they said they had to order each topping separately then. Perhaps they got a new cook or they were low on ingredients because the toppings were extremely vague. It usually had lots and lots of bacon, cheese, mushrooms, etc. This hardly had anything on it and the tomatoes were all sliced, not diced and put whole on it. My family and I were extremely disappointed and I have not ordered from there again.

This is by far the best pizza I have had in St. Louis EVER. Seems they have brought the recipe from Chicago and they have a double decker pizza which you will have to taste it to believe it. They have a thin crust also which we did not try when we went this time, but we will definitely try it the next visit. Its at the corner of Big Bend and Dougherty Ferry. When we went, we had to wait a long time for a table, so I would recommend going early. You need to try this place!

We have been coming to this place from day one, and we have nothing but great things to say about JJ Twigs. The pizza is the best in town and we have always had friendly service. YOU HAD TO HAVE BEEN INCREDIBLY RUDE TO HAVE HAD SUCH AN EXPERIENCE.
